What is CIMA?

CIMA is the membership body that awards the Chartered Global Management Accountant^® (CGMA^®) designation. CIMA’s syllabus to the CGMA designation brings theoretical learning to life through real-world business scenarios.

Fun fact: In 2017, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the American Institute of CPAs® (AICPA®) joined together to provide accounting and finance professionals with even more resources and a global network that spans 150 countries and territories. Both CIMA and the AICPA have the authority to award the CGMA designation.
