The CIMA PQ is now called the CGMA PQ

The CIMA Professional Qualification (PQ) is now the CGMA Professional Qualification in a move Andrew Harding, FCMA, CGMA and Chief Executive — Management Accounting describes as ‘opening doors to new opportunities.’ The CGMA PQ syllabus is identical to the CIMA PQ and remains a CIMA qualification. As Harding notes, the CGMA qualification remains ‘valued by employers worldwide’.

The CGMA® Professional Qualification (PQ) refers to the journey to achieve the CGMA qualification. The CGMA PQ is simply the new name for the professional qualification. Rest assured that CIMA® still exists.
