Try CIMA out for a year
The Certificate in Business Accounting (Cert BA) isn’t just a stepping stone to the CGMA Professional Qualification – it’s a professional qualification in its own right. It should take you around 12 - 18 months to complete. And if you’ve already got a relevant degree, with exemptions you’ll be able to get the Cert BA by only sitting one exam instead of the usual four. Use our exam exemptions calculator to check if you’re eligible.
Once you’ve got your Cert BA, you can either walk away with a brand-new qualification on your CV, sign up to carry on with the Professional Qualification, or take some time out before continuing your CIMA studies.
Award-winning study resource
Summer school means making new friends. Our PQ Award-winning cohort programme is the perfect way to do just that – and it’ll help you pass your CIMA exams, too. As part of the free 13 week interactive programme, you’ll connect with students at the same stage in their CIMA studies as you.
You get a step-by-step weekly study calendar, complete with learning resources; regular online tutorials and drop-in sessions to keep you on track; a dedicated Facebook group to network with other students sitting the same exam, at the same time, as you; and the option to resit your exam for free if you don’t pass (terms and conditions will apply).
