CGMA Professional Awards
The CGMA Professional Awards recognise the accomplished CGMA designation holders, CGMA candidates, employers, universities and educators who have cultivated an ecosystem that fosters a positive workplace culture or contributes to the community through impactful ideas, innovation and growth.
In a virtual awards ceremony on 20 December 2024, nominees, finalists and winners were praised for their contributions in serving as role models for their peers and the next generation.
A rigorous selection process amid stiff competition attracted over 1,200 applicants and nominations. Individuals, businesses, and educational establishments from across the region — Australia, India, the Maldives, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Thailand — took part.
Categories to salute winners

CGMA Sustainability Award
— recognising CGMA designation holders leading the sustainability front in Asia Pacific. The award honoured CIMA members who have put impactful environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives into practice and influenced others for good.

CGMA Innovation Award
— recognising innovative education and human resource training superstars. The award honoured the efforts and achievements of CIMA members who have contributed to the community through novel and impactful ideas, which have inspired a culture of continuous improvement.

CGMA Digital Transformation Award
— recognising digital transformation–savvy CGMA designation holders in Asia Pacific. The award honoured the achievements of CIMA members who have successfully embraced and implemented digital transformation projects and leveraged technology to drive efficiencies, innovation and growth for their companies.

CGMA Leadership Award
— recognising CGMA designation holders who have been brilliant at nurturing professional leaders. The award honoured university partners who developed, influenced and led accounting and finance education and delivered invaluable coaching and mentoring programs for students.
