[Background music: upbeat and welcoming electronic jingle. Purple welcome page divided into 4 unequally sized sections by white lines, with the question “What advice would you give school leavers figuring out their next steps?” in a large pane top left, and the CIMA logo in a small pane bottom right]

[The welcome page disappears and is replaced with the speaker, a young man with brown hair standing facing the camera. He is wearing a pale blue shirt with its collar open and is wearing headphones. He is standing in front of an off-white background. The upbeat electronic music continues to play in the background. The speaker starts talking and the music reduces in volume]

"My advice for people looking for their next step after school would be to look around, be open minded."

[As the speaker begins to talk a purple title panel appears showing his name, ‘Alex Sanderson’, his designations, ‘ACMA, CGMA’, his position ‘Group Equity and Reporting Manager’ and the company he works for, ‘Experian’.]

"Don't just go down the path because your friends and everyone else is doing it. Have a think about what you really want more about where you want to be in kind of 10 years time rather than the next two to three years time, I think also look a bit more internally, you know, if you're thinking about the apprenticeship route, are you mature enough, old enough and ready to step into the working world? Or are you not do not feel so ready to do that? If not, then maybe go down to kind of a more conventional route and still stay in academia and education. I don't think there's a right answer for for anyone. I would encourage people to speak to as many people as possible collect as many opinions as you can from people you respect and the people who have the right to offer those opinions have been through those experiences."

[The upbeat electronic background music grows louder as the speakers voice fades into the background. A black end slide appears displaying the CIMA logo in the centre of the screen.
